Dutch Iris Mixture

Dutch Iris Mixture

Our lovely mixture will provide you with many spring bouquets. Blooms range from soft blue to deep violet-blue to yellow and white, and each is marked with a yellow or golden orange blotch. 25 bulbs cover 2-3sq ft.

These colorful hybrids make impressive clumps among perennials in the middle of the border. Give them an open, sunny site and forget about watering in summer - they would be happier on the dry side. They grow best in well-drained soil that has a pH close to neutral.

Dutch Iris are beautiful with Roses, Peonies, Oriental Poppies, Alliums, and Foxgloves, and are valued for their long life in a vase. You may have noticed them at your local florist shop or cut-flower market.
