'Burning Heart' is a Darwin Hybrid Tulip, but it's often described as a Rembrandt type, which simply means that it looks similar to the boldly colored Tulips seen in Dutch paintings of the 1600s, such as those by Rembrandt. The flowers of 'Burning Heart' open yellow, etched with bold swirls and red flames. As the blossom matures, the yellow fades to ivory. Simply ravishing. Midseason.
