You'll be charmed by the delicate, dainty foliage and masses of tiny flowers of Kenilworth Ivy, Cymbalaria muralis. The lavender-and-white blooms are almost secondary to the trailing leaves. "Muralis" translates to "of walls" and explains why this diminutive plant tolerates alkaline soils and grows in the crevices of walls at our nursery. An overlooked gem for baskets and rockeries, once you have it in your garden, you won't want to be without it.
HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED
The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.
WHEN WE SHIP

Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the Shipping Details box for each item. Please refer to the Shipping Details box to determine the earliest shipping time. Unless you specify otherwise, fertilizers, tools, and other non-plant items are shipped with your plants or bulbs. Please supply a street address for delivery. Based upon the description from WFF, I decided to give these plants a try in pots on my sunny deck. From the minute I planted them, I loved everything about them! They are charming and delicate and the flowers, although small, are beautiful. I look forward to seeing them grow and spill over the pot.

I bought a number of Kenilworth Ivy plants years ago (maybe 10?). Then it disappeared-until last year-2015-when it appeared in the spaces between the rocks in the rock garden. It is still there this year. I love the tiny ruffled leaves and little flowers.
Cymbalaria is a genus of small creeping plants that are usually grown as ground covers. Plants are also attractive tucked in the crevices of stonewalls and in hanging baskets.
Light/Watering: Plants prefer partial shade but will grow in full sun if soil is kept evenly moist.
Soil: Grow in moderately rich, moist but well-drained soil.
