A June-bearing variety, 'Earliglow' sets berries longer than other early season Strawberries. The fruits are medium to large size, with a lovely, uniform red coloration, and well-suited for freezing, jams, or fresh use. Delicious!
To ensure an abundant crop in subsequent years, pinch the flowers off of June bearers the first year in your garden (this prevents fruit set and allows the plants to establish themselves). Beginning the second year in your garden, plants will bear heavily for 4-5 years.
