An old-timer but still one of the best. The blooms are a pale pink with a crimson eye that winks at you from 3ft stems. It's rare to find a design that can't be improved by the addition of these glorious plants. Grow some in the cutting garden, for if cut with half of the flowers open, they will fill your home with their perfume.
