Summer Snowflake (it actually flowers in late spring) naturalizes beautifully, so plant large drifts of it near a stream or pond for a graceful look. A longtime survivor in the South, where it's called Snowdrop. Two to seven flowers per stem. Heirloom, 1594. Late-spring to early-summer bloom. 10-12cm bulbs. 5-8 per sq ft.
