What a little sparkler! Bright blue flowers in tight spikes open from dainty, rounded buds to reveal pure white rims. A unique wild hybrid that was discovered in Russia's Caucasus mountains.
Muscari are handy, hardy, vigorous little spring bloomers that should, like Crocus, be staples in every garden. They thrive in full sun or deciduous shade, tolerate practically any soil, and seem to live forever. They are ideal as companions for taller bulbs or flowering shrubs, and look marvelous set out in loose sweeps all by themselves. Muscari foliage reappears in the fall, so don't be alarmed.
