A clear, light blue shade that is simply beautiful with other spring flowers. We also love it set off against the foliage of Hellebores, dwarf blue-green evergreens, or Bergenia.
Muscari are handy, hardy, vigorous little spring bloomers that should, like Crocus, be staples in every garden. They thrive in full sun or deciduous shade, tolerate practically any soil, and seem to live forever. They are ideal as companions for taller bulbs or flowering shrubs, and look marvelous set out in loose sweeps all by themselves. They also force perfectly, given 8-10 weeks of cool rooting time.
