Tomato Champion

Tomato Champion

Think Tomato sandwiches while you watch these large, round red fruits ripen on the vine (about 62–72 days from transplant). The juicy flesh of 'Champion' is sweet, meaty, and relatively seed-free. Bigger than 'Early Girl' and earlier than 'Better Boy', this hybrid is especially popular with our southern customers because it tolerates both heat and dry weather Plants are resistant to Verticillium Wilt, Fusarium Wilt (Race 1), nematodes, and Tobacco Mosaic Virus. Indeterminate.

Our stocky seedlings are grown and shipped in 3in pots that are a full 4in deep, so the plants you receive have strong, well-developed root systems. For more information on growing and care, click Growing Guide.
