This All-America Selections winner looks like a large Cayenne Pepper but is actually an Italian Bull's Horn variety with a delicious sweet flavor. 'Carmen' is noted for being quite adaptable, blooming and producing fruit over a wide range of temperatures. The 6in elongated fruits ripen to red earlier than other varieties, about 75 days from transplant, and there are plenty of them. And these upright plants are easy to grow in the garden or in a larger container. Adaptable indeed!
Our stocky seedlings are grown and shipped in 3in pots that are a full 4in deep, so the plants you receive have strong, well-developed root systems. For more information on growing and care, click Growing Guide.
