The leaves unfurl a bright yellow-orange in spring, become green during the summer, and then turn brilliant golden orange in fall. A choice specimen for a special spot where its structure and beauty can be admired up close.
The 150 species of Maples have a wide distribution, from Europe and Asia to North and Central America. Their winged fruits twirl like helicopters when they drop, but their often colorful, lobed, or finely cut leaves are the real attraction.
