The white blossoms and blue-green leaves of this deciduous Azalea hybrid are larger than its parent 'Snowbird' and very fragrant, too, so place it near a pathway to enjoy the scent. 'Fragrant Star' is also more sun- and heat-tolerant than most.

Rhododendron is a genus of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, which includes Azaleas. These lovely shrubs look terrific in a mixed border or in foundation plantings. All thrive in full sun or partial shade (required in the South) and evenly moist, acid soil.
