This redesigned Adirondack-style tower is made from hardwood saplings that are nailed together, then bound with tough, pliant vines. At 5′ in height, with a 17″ square base, it makes an ideal support for Tomatoes, Beans, Cucumbers, Clematis, Morning Glories, Sweet Peas... well, you get the point. The towers are made from two nesting pieces, which makes shipping them easier for us and storing them more convenient for you.
HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED
The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.
WHEN WE SHIP
We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the Shipping Details box for each item. Please refer to the Shipping Details box to determine the earliest shipping time. Unless you specify otherwise, fertilizers, tools, and other non-plant items are shipped with your plants or bulbs. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at expected time of delivery.
We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. This tower presents an elegant vertical element in any garden. I planted morning glories to climb this element in my vegetable garden however I believe it looks best when left uncovered. The colors are rich and blend well with the many different colors I had in the garden. The only drawback this tower presents is its fragility. I would not recommend purchasing this tower if you live in a windy area as it falls over easily (which mine did). Several twigs broke but I was able to repair the broken twigs with tape and it withstood the remainder of the summer.
When used as a single vertical element, this rustic twigged tower presents an eye-catching component in any type of garden. It is best viewed when the surrounding foliage does not overpower the tower.

I use this to support orange and red cherry tomatoes - 2 of each color. It is lovely and strong. I grow my vegetables and herbs mixed in with flowers in a kitchen garden which is part of our patio. I've always disliked the way tomatoes sprawl but with this tower they stay tidy and get lots of air. The tower is placed in a square bordered by low Durango marigolds. Very pretty. It has withstood serious high winds and heavy rain this summer. No problems at all.
