There's nothing old-fashioned about this stylish member of the Zahara® Hot Summer Survivors series. It's the first truly red Zinnia, and it was bred for resistance to mildew and leaf spot. Once established, Zahara® Scarlet needs little watering—a great choice for low-maintenance color in containers and borders.
Zinnias bloom incessantly from June to frost if they are provided with fertile soil and some water in dry spells. Newer varieties of these colorful annuals are more heat tolerant and mildew resistant. For more information on growing Zinnias, click on Growing Guide.
Every state has agricultural regulations that restrict the shipment of certain plants. We are sorry, but we cannot ship this item to the following states: NV, OR, TX, UT, WA
HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED
The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

Annuals in the Daisy family have long been a favorite of gardeners. Zinnias are part of this cheery, heat-tolerant group, too, but now they have a new zing, thanks to several acclaimed lines with resistance to powdery mildew.
Grow in full sun in average, well-drained soil that stays evenly moist.
