At the nursery, we've gathered Tree Peonies (many are decades old) together to form a grove. Because taller shrubs and trees provide shade in the location in the afternoon, their companions include Brunnera, Ferns, Hakonechloa, Hellebores, and Hostas. Tree Peonies bloom about the same time as Siberian Iris, and the collection we call Wings Over Water is planted in a bit more sun close by.
