North Carolina native Randy Ouzts got his inspiration for the Firenze pot in Europe, where he designed clay pots with color and style to suit many settings, inside or out, formal and informal. Our complete kit includes 12 'Ziva' bulbs, 11" Firenze pot with drainage hole and saucer, bulb support, and potting soil. Simple instructions are sent with every order and are also available by clicking "Growing Guide" at left. We ship Paperwhites from late September into January, with an occasional pause for foul weather.
Paperwhites belong to a group of Daffodils that are not hardy for us, but are easily grown in a pot or vase indoors. Their large clusters of pure white flowers arch above graceful, blue-green foliage, and their perfume fills a room with fragrance. Paperwhites require no preparation and are absolutely foolproof. If you start your plantings at 2- to 4-week intervals you can keep the show running all winter. Bulbs may be held for weeks in a warm, dark closet, which allows plenty of flexibility in orchestrating displays for holidays or other special occasions. Watch our do-it-yourself video.
