An extraordinary number of varieties have appeared on our list over the years, but we decided it was high time to give special recognition to those whose performance as garden and landscape perennials has been outstanding. Herewith four classic Daffodils that deserve a mix all their own -- the yellow Trumpet 'Dutch Master', Large-cups 'Ice Follies' and 'Fortissimo', and fragrant, double-flowered 'Sir Winston Churchill'.
