There is nothing in the Amaryllis world to compare with 'Picotee.' Crisp white petals, with edges finely penciled in rich red, present a clean, tailored look that's utterly distinctive. This choice variety is slow to reproduce (though heavy blooming) and therefore always in short supply. Please order early.
The carefully prepared bulbs we deliver require only warm temperatures, strong light, and water to deliver a truly spectacular performance. The Amaryllis you see offered locally bear absolutely no resemblance to the lusty giants we secure through special contracts with a Dutch grower. Our bulbs are guaranteed to produce two flower stems, most with four blooms, and are easily grown on from year to year. Allow 8–10 weeks from bulb to bloom.

HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED
The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.
WHEN WE SHIP
We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the Shipping Details box for each item. Please refer to the Shipping Details box to determine the earliest shipping time. Unless you specify otherwise, fertilizers, tools, and other non-plant items are shipped with your plants or bulbs. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at expected time of delivery.
We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Missy from Edmond, OK
Very small blooms and long stalks no leaves at all. Did not like it at all and have bought Amaryllis for gifts for a long time. Very disapointed. I think the pots were too small for the bulbs.
amaryllis lover from Lynchburg, VA
This is the second year I've purchased Picotee. The blooms are long lasting and unbelieveably beautiful. This year I have my potted amaryllis planted in a white wooden wicker basket and this is a wonderful combination. I'm waiting for the third scape to appear.

GROWING AMARYLLIS OUTDOORS
GROWING AMARYLLIS INDOORS
Amaryllis sent already potted need only a thorough watering with lukewarm water to begin growing. Then follow the "Pre-bloom Care" instructions below.
Please note: These Amaryllis are shipped with a layer of decorative Spanish moss on top of each pot. Cut the rubber band that holds the Spanish moss in place and arrange the moss around the bulb so it looks attractive.
Potting Bareroot Bulbs
Please note: Some of our Amaryllis kits are shipped with a disk of potting medium (Cocopeat). Follow the directions on the package for rehydrating the disk. Fill the pot about 1/2 full with Cocopeat, set the bulb on top, and fill in around the bulb with additional Cocopeat. Adjust the position of the bulb as needed so that the top 1/3 of the bulb is exposed. Do not be concerned if the final level of the Cocopeat is down inside the pot. Firm the Cocopeat and water lightly to settle it around the bulb. Then follow the “Pre-bloom Care” instructions below.

Growing Amaryllis in Stones and Water
*We recommend trimming dried roots off because they will decompose in water over time. Adding aquarium charcoal to the river stones will also help prevent any odors.
