HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

Spectacular!

I'd never tried Honeybells before but decided to buy them for a friend for a holiday gift. She raved about them so I decided to send some to myself. THEY WERE SPECTACULAR. They have a luscious strong citrus flavor; just the right amount of sweetness; and are the juiciest "orange" I've ever tasted. No exaggeration. My husband and I had to eat them over a bowl while peeling them. Then we slop up all the juice with spoons. I ordered another case today while Honeybells are still in season.

Disappointed

I was looking forward to getting the Honeybells as I had wonderful fruit from White Flower Farm before. However, it was a long time between the notification that the fruit was ready to ship and the time it arrived. We were only able to eat about 4 honeybells as the rest of the box was so soft they were fed to the wildlife who come around at night for scraps.

Sweet, juicy, bright, soft, DELICIOUS!

We were delighted to receive this month's shipment in 5 months of fruit. The honeybells are super juicy and sweet, have soft orange flesh and are a welcome break from winter doldrums. We couldn't be happier.

Disappointing

These were actually very juicy, but watery and with little flavor. I was disappointed and the ones I bought in the local supermarket that were much less expensive were better tasting. Perhaps the grove had a bad growing season, but I won't be ordering these again.
