Growing Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana)

This Mediterranean native is grown as an annual in most parts of the country as it is only perennial in Zones 9-10. It can also be grown in a container and brought indoors for the winter, though it tends to become leggy. Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana) grows best in very well-drained soil and full sun, except in the hottest climates, where light shade will be appreciated.
