Blueberries are ideal shrubs to include in the landscape. Plants are hardy and long-lived, asking only for a sunny spot with highly organic, acid soil (pH of 4.5 is ideal, so dig in some peat moss when planting, if you're in doubt) and mulch to retain moisture.
