Perennials by Common Name

Perennials by Common Name

At White Flower Farm, we're in the habit of using "proper" botanical names for plants because the Latin eliminates ambiguity - plants often have different common names in different regions, for example, and we aim to be specific.

That said, we want to make it as easy you to find the plants you're looking for, and so we've listed some of the more popular perennial genera by their common name below. You can also view and filter our complete list of perennials (listed by botanical name) here. When in doubt, try the search box at the top of the page, and don't forget that our knowledgeable customer service team is never more than an email, phone call, or chat session away.

Please note that our list of varieties changes each season, and that some popular genera (most notably Poppies) are only shipped in the fall.
