2015 Calendar of Events

Please plan to join us this year for some exciting programs with well-known horticulturalists. You'll have fun learning, talking with White Flower Farm staff, touring our display gardens, shopping from a special selection of plants, and visiting scenic northwestern Connecticut. All talks are held rain or shine in our lecture hall, which is located up the hill behind our retail store on Route 63 in Morris, CT. Lecture attendees may drive up the hill to park closer to the event. The lectures begin at 10:00 a.m. and last approximately 1 hour. The cost for each talk is listed next to the event's description below and advance registration is preferred. Catalogs and a free drawing at each lecture.

Container Gardening - Make & Take Event

Bring Mom along or treat yourself to an annual container workshop. Select your pot and plants, and watch as our staff assembles your creation. Three drop-in sessions: 10 a.m.-11 a.m., 11 a.m.-noon, and
2 p.m.-3 p.m. Prices start at $45, which includes 5 annuals of your choosing and a decorative container. Other choices available for additional fees.

Join us for our annual sale of Tomato, vegetable and herb seedlings. This year’s event features more than 100 Tomato varieties, plus vegetable plants, herbs & more.

Open House and Garden Tours

This is the day when we provide free tours of the farm, iced tea, cucumber sandwiches, and gardening gossip to visitors on the lawn in front of our house. Garden tours begin at 1 p.m. and tea at 2:30 p.m. or as soon as the family can pull things together. Free event.

Garden Tours start on the lawn next to the White Garden. Please look for “Garden Tours Meet Here” signs.
