Please plan to join us for exciting opportunities to hear and meet well-known horticulturists at the Farm, where you’ll have fun learning, talking with staff, touring the display gardens, and shopping from a special selection of plants in the heart of scenic northwestern Connecticut. A drawing for related plants will take place at each lecture. Talks are held in our lecture hall at the top of the hill. Parking is available near the offices by driving to the top of Esther’s Lane. The Great Tomato Celebration is not to be missed. Go home with treasured heirlooms and the best-rated Tomato plants for your growing and eating pleasure. Get here early for the best selections. We'll have over 150 varieties of Tomato seedlings to choose from, plus fertilizers, stakes, ties, containers, and a selection of herbs and vegetables to make this year's garden the best ever. Experts will be on hand each day to answer your questions. A fun time is guaranteed for all!

Saturday, June 8th 10:00 a.m. – Garden Photography Made Easy with Rich Pomerantz |

Acclaimed photographer Rich Pomerantz will wow you with his garden photography and impart his wisdom so that you'll feel like a pro when you photograph your own gardens. Practical tips and a chance to photograph in the White Flower Farm gardens will be made available. $10 fee for this event.

Saturday, June 22nd – Annual Open House

Mark your calendars for our Open House day, when we welcome old friends and new for iced tea and cucumbers sandwiches on the lawn by our house. The date this year is Saturday, June 22 and we'll start serving around 2:30. The display gardens should be close to peak and the Begonia House full of renowned Blackmore & Langdon varieties will be hitting its stride. Click here for

Tuesdays in the Garden

Back by popular demand! Be part of the garden discussion with staff members and fellow gardeners as we gather each Tuesday for lunch in the shade of the garden. You bring your favorite sandwich and we'll supply the drinks. A lively topic of discussion, demonstrations, and tours will be part of the excitement. Each session will last no longer than an hour and starts at 12:30 p.m. Advance registration and enthusiasm are required!
