Tomatoes for Containers
Imagine stepping outside your door to pick a fresh, vine-ripened Tomato. Anyone can have the convenience and delight of a garden at their fingertips. Just think container gardening! Most Tomato varieties recommended for containers are classified as "determinate." This means the plants stop growing after reaching a certain size (usually 3-4ft) and will therefore produce a limited amount of fruit. Their compact size is ideally suited for containers. You will need to check the potting mix and water if needed, but when you gather your first mature Tomato, you'll be smiling all the way to the dinner table. For tips on growing Tomatoes, click here.
