Tree Wisterias are not widely available because they are devils to get started, although growing them in your garden (in full sun and average garden soil) could not be easier. A pair of white Wisteria standards has anchored the Moon Garden at our nursery in Litchfield, CT, for decades. Even after all this time, the bloom, in late May, causes quite a commotion among staff and visitors alike.
