Indoor Plants-From our Greenhouse to Your Home (9 minutes)

Houseplants add texture and color to indoors spaces in return for a modest amount of care. There are plants for almost any situation -- from hot to cool, from full sun to low light, from dry to humid -- so the choice of what to grow should begin with the conditions you have in your home. In this video, our nursery manager shows Len Giddix of WTIC's Garden Talk with Len and Lisa new varieties being grown in the White Flower Farm greenhouses and answers some questions frequently asked about houseplant care. You'll learn ways to judge if a plant needs watering, whether to water from above or below, and how to provide the right light conditions.
