The blooms of Cybister Amaryllis look like exotic tropical birds but the bulbs are as floriferous and easy to grow as their bigger cousins. Our collection of bareroot bulbs includes 1 each of 3 varieties, our choice.
Please note that the dramatic Cybister Amaryllis (varieties of the South American species Hippeastrum cybister) naturally make smaller bulbs and flowers. The carefully prepared bulbs we deliver require only warm temperatures, strong light, and water to deliver a truly spectacular performance.
Our bulbs are guaranteed to produce two flower stems, most with four blooms, and are easily grown on from year to year. Allow 8–10 weeks from bulb to bloom.

Please note: Amaryllis height may vary. Plants tend to be taller when grown under lower light conditions.
HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED
The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.
WHEN WE SHIP
We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the Shipping Details box for each item. Please refer to the Shipping Details box to determine the earliest shipping time. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at expected time of delivery.

When I received my bulbs, they were wonderful - large and healthy, but that was the only expectation that was met. They were planted in pots and placed in a sunny warm window. Of the 3 bulbs, only one bloomed as described by its tag and it gave me only one flower stem. One of the bulbs has not bloomed. The other one was described as "red with dark red veins" - it was an uninteresting white with pale pinkish veins. I am truly disappointed! I do not recommend spending money on this collection - it was a waste of mine.
I am sorry the Cybister amaryllis bulbs did not perform as expected Pamela. As all of our amaryllis are fully guaranteed I will be contacting you via email regarding compensation.A viewer from Denver, CO

How to Grow Amaryllis
Bulb size: 28-32 cm
GROWING AMARYLLIS OUTDOORS
GROWING AMARYLLIS INDOORS
Pre-potted Bulbs
Amaryllis sent already potted need only a thorough watering with lukewarm water to begin growing. Then follow the "Pre-bloom Care" instructions below.
Please note: These Amaryllis are shipped with a layer of decorative Spanish moss on top of each pot. Cut the rubber band that holds the Spanish moss in place and arrange the moss around the bulb so it looks attractive.
Potting Bareroot Bulbs
Please note: Some of our Amaryllis kits are shipped with a disk of potting medium (Cocopeat). Follow the directions on the package for rehydrating the disk. Fill the pot about 1/2 full with Cocopeat, set the bulb on top, and fill in around the bulb with additional Cocopeat. Adjust the position of the bulb as needed so that the top 1/3 of the bulb is exposed. Do not be concerned if the final level of the Cocopeat is down inside the pot. Firm the Cocopeat and water lightly to settle it around the bulb. Then follow the “Pre-bloom Care” instructions below.

Growing Amaryllis in Stones and Water
*We recommend trimming dried roots off because they will decompose in water over time. Adding aquarium charcoal to the river stones will also help prevent any odors.
