Elizabeth Dudley, landscape architect and creator of ColorBlock Garden Design Cards, demonstrates how to use her New England Perennials Zones 3-8 deck of cards to design the garden of your dreams. The first hour is dedicated to explaining how the cards work and creating a sample garden as a group. The second hour focuses on individual attendees using the cards to design their own gardens. Participants should bring information about their garden sites including measurements, sun exposure, soil conditions, and any other notable details (such as proximity to trees, water, roadways, etc).
