Treat yourself to months of beautiful flowering branches that provide an indoor preview of spring. Our 3-month series features yellow-flowering Forsythia in February, Double Quince in March, and Tulip Magnolia in April. Each set of branches arrives in bud stage with the flowers opening gradually. Due to the large size of some of the branches, the overall number you receive may vary, but we guarantee you will be pleased with your display.

  • February - Forsythia (approximately 10 branches)
  • March - Double Quince (approximately 6-8 branches)
  • April - Tulip Magnolia (approximately 4-6 branches)
Flowering Branches Care Instructions
To maximize your branches’ vase life, follow these simple instructions:
  • Remove any leaves from the base of the branches and cut off approximately 1” from the bottom of each stem with clippers, making sure to cut at an angle.
  • Fill a sturdy, clean vase with about 3” of water and arrange the stems in the vase.
  • Place your branches in a warm room with plenty of light if you want to speed up the opening of the buds. If you want to slow down their process, place in a cool room with no light.
  • Replace the water and recut the base of the stems every 4-5 days to aid in the opening of the flowers.
  • Remove older flowers as they fade.

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Fabulous! Don't hesitate

The first shipment - forsythia - is outstanding. Bringing the spring inside in the midst of winter and watching the flowers open up more each day is an experience I will treasure.

Definitely doing this every year from now on and sending it as a gift to my favorite gardeners!

Happy Auntie

I’ve ordered this 3 month supply for the last to years for my aunt who is difficult to buy for. She absolutely loves this gift.

These were a birthday gift. The forsythia was great, but the quince did not flower at all and the magnolia produced two active buds from a dozen sticks. I should have just given money for the birthday gift.
