Set the finished dish garden in a room with bright indirect light or near a window that receives morning sun. The Amaryllis bulb will begin growing on arrival. The flowers appear 8-10 weeks later and last for weeks. When the final Amaryllis blooms have faded, pop out the bulb and enjoy the Fern garden, which will continue to thrive indoors given indirect light and steady moisture. You may discard the Amaryllis bulb, or, if preferred, rebuild it for rebloom next year.
