Although we can’t guarantee your plants’ successful return next year, here are our best recommendations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn climates where winter temperatures drop well below freezing, containers should be dismantled in late fall. The Hakonechloa, Heuchera, Symphyotrichum, and Solidago are perennials and they can be planted in the ground. Simply discard the Cabbage and Pepper, which are annuals and will not survive in areas below 20°F.
