For the first time ever, we are pleased and proud to present White Flower Farm Honey. White Flower Farm Honey comes from hives we operate here at the farm. Our bees forage in our gardens, pastures, fields, and in a 4,000-acre nature preserve that surrounds us on three sides. Our honey has a rich, earthy flavor that changes during the season depending on what plants are in flower. It is raw honey, meaning it has not been filtered, pasteurized, or adulterated with water or flavors. Because there is no commercial agriculture in our area, and we control pests through meticulous Integrated Pest Management rather than pesticides, we believe our honey to be free from impurities of any kind. We store bulk quantities in buckets and bottle it only in small batches to meet demand. This deters the crystallization that can occur over time. If there’s a better way to make honey, we haven’t found it. Enjoy some of nature’s finest on your toast and in your tea. It also makes a delicious gift. 1 lb of honey in a 1 pint glass jar.

HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the Shipping Details box for each item. Please refer to the Shipping Details box to determine the earliest shipping time. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at expected time of delivery.

OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Simply the Best!

Simply the best honey I have tasted since my childhood when dad would harvest fresh honey from our own family of honey bees living in his tool shed. The day our bees moved in I was just a tot playing in the yard. They came in such a swarm I let out a startled sound. My dad spoke to me in a low voice from inside our home, telling me to stay very quiet and still as honey bees were all around me. The larger part of the swarm was gathering high above me. When the smaller formation of scouting bees moved away from me into the shed, dad dashed out with a large thick towel to cover me and take me to safety in our home. Unharmed, we watched in amazement as the larger swarm came down from the sky and moved into the shed. We enjoyed their honey for many years, a blessed gift. Thank you for sharing the honey from your family of honey bees. It is greatly appreciated!
