Product Details

The large, fully double blossoms of Zinnia Double Zahara® Salmon Rose keep coming all season, attracting butterflies and other pollinators, and filling your garden with bright rosy coral color. Superb for bedding and for patio pots.

Zinnias bloom incessantly from June to frost if they are provided with fertile soil and some water in dry spells. Newer varieties of these colorful annuals are more heat tolerant and mildew resistant.

Every state has agricultural regulations that restrict the shipment of certain plants. We're sorry, but we cannot ship this item to the following states: Washington, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Utah.

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Possibly shipping senstive?

I ordered this along with the following: Ipomoea batatas Illusion® Emerald Lace, Coleus Shiny Shoes, Gomphrena globosa Las Vegas Purple, Fuchsia Gartenmeister Bonstedt. I received all the plants ordered at the same time and planted all at the same time, one of each per planter, 4 planters in total. The other plants are thriving. Unfortunately the Zinnia did not thrive from the start and has now completely died out. I have replaced them with alternative plants which I sourced locally. I am not sure whether these plants did not take well to shipping or whether a very wet alternating hot/cold season contributed to why these plants not thriving. As a long time gardener I accept these things happen but felt I should let others know about my experience.

Latin Name Pronunciation: zin'ee-uh

Annuals in the Daisy family have long been a favorite of gardeners. Zinnias are part of this cheery, heat-tolerant group, too, but now they have a new zing, thanks to several acclaimed lines with resistance to powdery mildew.

Grow in full sun in average, well-drained soil that stays evenly moist.
