Spring has sprung here in the Litchfield Hills, and we’re delighted to have opened the doors to the White Flower Farm Store for the season. We’re stocked with shrubs and perennials for spring planting, a broad selection of the world’s best garden tools, stylish, durable containers and decorative accents for outdoors, plus great gift items for Mother’s Day and other spring celebrations.
As you survey your garden, look for empty spaces in borders and beds, any shrubs that may have been damaged during the harsh winter and may need replacing, and any areas where you might feel inspired to create new gardens.
To help you get started, we’re well-stocked with Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Junipers, Andromedas, and other landscaping essentials. Hellebores, the first perennials to bloom in our part of the world, are ready for planting, and we’re offering a wide array with flowers in a variety of colors and forms. These plants also provide an early food source for pollinators.

Make-Your-Own Container Garden

The store calendar is filled with activities for a full season. Coming up on May 2nd is our popular Make-Your-Own Container Garden event. Begin by exploring our greenhouse filled with a vibrant selection of annuals, then work with our expert staff to design and plant a custom container garden tailored to your space and style. We’ll provide plant selection guidance, as necessary, and help pot up your creation on-site. You’ll leave with a flourishing arrangement to enjoy all season. Space is limited. These events tend to sell out early so please reserve now!
