The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Beautiful plant, lovingly packed

I received this plant as a gift from my husband after lusting after it in the catalog. I have ordered plants online before, rarely do they compare to the picture in the catalog it terms of size or health. My palm arrived in the middle of December in perfect health, protected from the elements, leaf crushing and soil loss within a customized packing box. And the palm is beautiful- more lush than the catalog photo without a single brown leaf. Absolutely exceeded my expectations.

tall awesome palm!

Still cannot believe I received such a wonderful tall specimen plant online. WFF included a heat pack to ensure a safe arrival! Ordering more plants to refresh the indoors!

Love this plant!

This plant is gorgeous!! As another reviewer mentioned, it is taller and wider than I had anticipated-much more impressive than the photos. It arrived in perfect condition in the dead of winter, due to the careful packaging. It far exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely glorious!

Oh, what a lovely plant it is! Much more lush than the pictures, tons of healthy, glossy leaves and many new leaves ready to unfurl.
Brightened up our winter tremendously. An absolute treat!

So big!

I can't believe how lush and perfect this plant is. The plant I received was about 2-3x more robust than in the picture. Now I don't know where to put it because it is taller and wider than I anticipated. I guess it's not a bad problem to have! Very happy with my purchase.

Palms are attractive ornamentals throughout the world in tropical or Mediterranean-like climates. Many are easy-to-grow houseplants in colder regions and will produce new glossy, dark green leaves each year. The mature plant height of our houseplants reflects what we expect the plant to grow under normal houseplant conditions. The instructions below are for growing indoors.

LIGHT: Provide your plant with plenty of light near a south- or west-facing window.

WATERING: Water thoroughly when the surface of the soil mix is dry to the touch. Plants require less water during the winter months when they are not actively growing.

TEMPERATURE: Provide room temperatures above 50°F.

FERTILIZER: When plants are in active growth from April through September, use a balanced (18-18-18) houseplant fertilizer monthly, diluted to half strength.
