Attracts Pollinators

Will attract bees, butterflies & moths, birds, and/or other pollinators.

Deer Resistant

Considered relatively less appetizing to deer. There are no deer-proof plants!

Drought Tolerant

Holds up well in periods of limited moisture and/or heat.

Fragrant

Noteworthy fragrance (flowers and/or foliage).

Good for Cutting

Strong stems, flowers last in the vase.

Long Blooming

Blooms in 3 or more consecutive months.

N. American Native

The species is native to North America. Interspecific hybrids are labeled this way when both parent species are native.

Reblooming

Flowers multiple times over the course of the growing season.

Salt Tolerant

Known to be tolerant of exposure to salt (sea spray, road salt, etc.).

Soil pH Sensitive

Growth, health, or flower color can change depending on how acidic or alkaline the soil is.
