HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

Great Plant, But.....

A viewer from Spring TX

Although this is a beautiful plant I feel deceived. Unfortunately the sale picture shows multiple bulbs in the planter producing many stalks. My plant has one bulb. It looks beautiful but half as full as the picture. I am surprised, but not the kind that feels good.

A viewer from Southern NH

This is an absolutely stunning plant! it’s huge, healthy and full of color. It was shipped you really well especially considering how large this plant is. This is my third houseplant from white flower farm and I can’t get over how healthy, pest free(!) and large the plants are from here. So happy!

WOW

A viewer from Indiana

Gorgeous and healthy and came packaged like you cracking into a safe to release it. I've purchased large tropicals from big box stores and I may as well have flushed my money down the commode. WFF plants are always in such better health and condition. I do agree that this plant will probably do better in a clay pot so the roots can breath and dry out better between waterings, so I'm going to order a pot and repot it before the weather turns any colder. I wished I had done that to begin with. Also I do not recommend ordering large tropical plants for shipment when the temperature dips to freezing. I purchased one of these two years ago in Dec and it froze enroute. I am certain WFF would have reimbursed me but I felt responsible because I am smart enough to know it was a risk. They did replace an Amaryllis bulb I sent as a gift because it arrived frozen. Shipping large tropicals is another thing so I made sure I ordered this particular plant and a Sansevieria early enough this time.
