Rose Companions
At the farm, our Roses shine brightly in the company of preferred companion plants in our dedicated Rose Garden. Gathered here you'll find perennials and vines that flatter many Roses. Nepeta, Perennial Salvias, Clematis, and Delphiniums bloom at the same time as Roses, and they make natural pairings. But there are many other favorites to consider as well. Use low-growing selections, such as Coreopsis and hardy Geraniums, to plant at the feet of your Roses. Perennials such as Digitalis and Liatris complement Shrub Roses with their vertical forms, while Echinacea and Phlox provide lovely color combinations.
