Every state has agricultural regulations that restrict the shipment of certain plants. We're sorry, but we cannot ship this item to the following states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington.

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

worth it

So far, I'm really happy with this little garden. Every one of the plants arrived in good condition (despite the COVID rush) and they've all survived the extreme heat we've been having lately.

Based on previous reviews, I decided to double up the order so the garden would be a bit lusher a bit sooner. Right now it looks just about perfect but I'm betting next year I'll have to thin things out and transplant things to other spots. Still, I love the mix of colors and love how hardy the plants are both with the weather and with the bugs.

Several of the plants that I picked up at the local garden center are suffering from aphids and these haven't had any trouble with them. The Black Scallop and the Purple Dragon not only look lush and healthy but have also spread a lot from the tiny pots they started in.

Disappointed for the very first time

I have purchased thousands of dollars of plant material from White Flower Farm. While I understand that you are very busy during this time of Covid, I never expected to receive a $99.00 collection with a plant missing, and three plants in very bad shape. There was no Hydrangea Serrata, and three of the four plants were dried out and severely root bound. I would rather you had cancelled the order than send this inferior product which was quite expensive.

Layout for 2 or 3?

Haven't purchase yet but this looks perfect for what I need. Questions: For a double or triple order, would you recommend repeating the layout or making the layout larger? In other words, put all each plant type together so you have a big group of lamium, big group of ajuga, etc? Also, my neighbors took down a bunch of trees, so my shade to deep shade area might get more sun. Can these plants take it, or should I wait and see how this summer goes? Thank you!

I just received the shipment today and it is missing two of the plants listed - most notably missing is the hydrangea. Unbelievable. The plants were tiny and to not even have two plants - one of which is the most costly is beyond disappointing. I am also missing part of my other order. This feels like I have been scammed.

Hopeful for next spring

I ordered this hoping to spruce up a shady area in my garden. I fell in love with the painted description and decided to order. Was pretty disappointed in the size of the plants received. All except for the hydrangea came in small 3” containers. I actually went to my local nursery and found both heuchera and the ajuga in a 1 gallon pot for half the price. I ended up having to order more lamium and the All Gold grass from WFF to fill the space out. Maybe WFF should update that pretty picture to show what it looks like with only one of these collections instead of the one that is depicted currently. It is a beautiful collection. For the price, was definitely expecting a little more. Hoping next spring, that shady area will be full.
Response from White Flower FarmWhite Flower Farm, One year ago (10/30/19 12:11PM)

I am sorry you were not pleased with the overall size of the plants received and found the need to purchase additional plants locally to fill the space. Our illustrations are intended to show the garden when mature. Each illustration accurately represents the number of plants included. As all perennial plant material is guaranteed for a full year, please contact the company next summer if you are not pleased with the overall growth rate and performance of the plants.
