Coco Mulch

Mulch your garden beds and planters to help them retain moisture, suppress weeds, and look attractive with Coco Mulch. This natural, sustainably-made mulch is created from the husks of coconuts. It maintains its reddish-brown color for up to two years. Place one 11-pound, 2.2 cubic foot “brick” in a wheelbarrow and add 3 gallons of warm water to hydrate it. After it has expanded, fluff the mulch with your hands or a trowel. One bag covers 26 square feet of soil when spread 1" thick or 13 square feet when spread 2" thick.

Please note: This mulch is distinct from cocoa bean mulch, which is a byproduct of chocolate and can be toxic to dogs. Coconut husks are not toxic to dogs but, as with many non-edible substances, can cause intestinal irritation or blockage if ingested.

We utilize both UPS and the USPS, depending on the size/weight of the package and the shipping distance. Both services provide tracking numbers which we include in shipping notification emails. We require a street address for delivery and request that you provide a shipping address where a daytime recipient is available. We cannot be responsible for delivery problems that stem from an incorrectly entered shipping address.
