The splendid cut flowers included in our Months of Colorful Mixed Flower Bouquets are top-quality, long-lasting, and sent fresh from our growers' farms within days of harvest. Each bouquet is hand-selected (our choice of varieties), and carefully arranged prior to shipping. Some flowers arrive in bud stage, maximizing your days of bloom. They are absolutely guaranteed to last 7 days.
We ship one bouquet each month of 20-24 stems of beautiful flowers. Bouquets are arranged according to the season. Each series includes one glass vase sent with your first shipment. Subsequent deliveries do not include vases.
All bouquets are shipped overnight from the grower, but customers pay only standard shipping rates.

We try to ship each plant so that it arrives during the first week of each month, however sometimes the plants or the weather at our nursery (or across the country along the shipping route) will cause us to vary from this schedule in order to protect the plants from heat or cold. We will notify you via email at the email address specified on your order when each plant is ready to ship each month.

HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED
The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.
WHEN WE SHIP
We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.
OUR GUARANTEE
We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Disappointing - Not Fresh

I ordered a 6-month bouquet series for my mother for her birthday. Month one arrived on Monday - not fresh, and today, Thursday, she says they have all died. Disappointing in the first instance, all the more so that she might get 5 more months of the same

Having worked in customer service, I believe the true mark of a company is not only in the initial quality, but how they handle customer complaints/issues. I contacted customer service regarding my disappointment in the two bouquets I and my mother had received. They immediately sent both of us replacement bouquets. These lasted much longer. I just received my last bouquet from the gift, and not only was it beautiful, it has lasted over a week!
Flowers do not last

I was given this as a gift. The first bouquet was frozen when I got it. Ok, that's the weather and perhaps it sat out too long on my front porch. The second one I retrieved it immediately upon delivery. The gerbera daisies were set in a mesh holder so the blooms would hold, but alas the bouquet lasted maybe 3 days. My mom received the same gift and her first one she had to throw out as it was completely frozen and ruined, the second one she also retrieved immediately but it also only lasted 2 days. We both have received FTD.com flowers that were shipped that lasted much longer. It's a nice idea, but too pricey for what you get and they do not last.

To maximize your bouquet’s vase life and keep your flowers looking their best, follow these simple instructions:
- Give your vase a good scrub with diluted bleach (ratio of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water) to make sure no bacteria is lingering.
- Dissolve contents of the enclosed flower food packet in your vase following the directions on the packet. Flower food is not included if your bouquet does not require it.
- Recut the bottom of each stem at an angle, removing at least 2” to your desired height.
- The blossoms will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days. Check the water level daily and add water as needed. Replace water every 2–3 days.
- To lengthen the life of your bouquet, recut the stems in 3–4 days.
- Remove older flowers as they fade.
- Keep your bouquet away from direct sun, drafts, and sources of heat.
For Rose bouquets:
Gently remove the outer guard petals, which may be bruised or damaged.
For larger Gerbera Daisies:
Gently remove the protective netting around each flower head and adjust the plastic tube on each stem so that the top of the tube rests against the base of the flower head.
