Months of Semia Bouquets

Fresh-cut blossoms, many sourced from area farms, are hand-selected and artfully arranged by Rhode Island floral designer Semia Dunne. Each bouquet is unique because it’s inspired by the season and custom-made to showcase the freshest and most beautiful flowers and foliage. Semia’s bouquets are always stunning, and they can be relied upon to delight and impress. Her arrangements also help support local flower farms, including many in our region. Each Semia’s Artistic Bouquet includes an average of 25 stems. Please note: Because each bouquet is made to order, it is one-of-a-kind and may not resemble what you see in the photograph.

Each series includes one glass vase sent with your first shipment. Subsequent deliveries do not include vases.

SEMIA Studio bouquets are assembled by hand in Providence, RI. They incorporate both locally grown flowers (during our all-too-short New England growing season) and stems from specialty growers around the world. Flowers are generally shipped in “tight bud” stage to allow for the longest possible vase life.

All bouquets are shipped overnight from the grower, but customers pay only standard shipping rates.

We try to ship each plant so that it arrives during the first week of each month, however sometimes the plants or the weather at our nursery (or across the country along the shipping route) will cause us to vary from this schedule in order to protect the plants from heat or cold. We will notify you via email at the email address specified on your order when each plant is ready to ship each month.

HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it.
