Lily-of-the-Valley
Lily-of-the-Valley is a genus that contains a single but well-loved perennial species, which is among the most useful ground covers for part shade. These charming and richly fragrant plants have many bell-shaped white or pink flowers in late spring. Easily grown, these small plants will take a couple of years to establish and may not flower the first year. But their creeping rhizomes will soon spread rapidly, making an ideal ground cover even under large trees.
