With the summer season about to begin at White Flower Farm, there is so much to see! Our Roses & Friends display garden is still in its full glory. The 280-foot Lloyd Border is coming to life with bulb displays now replaced by annuals that are adding color and interest to this ever-evolving showcase that also features perennials and shrubs. And in our Begonia House, the annual display of Blackmore & Langdon Tuberous Begonias has begun!
The Luminous Blooms of Blackmore & Langdon Begonias
For more than 50 years, it has been our privilege to be the exclusive U.S. supplier of Tuberous Begonias from England’s renowned Blackmore & Langdon. These remarkable plants are the product of over 100 years of selective breeding. In summer, people come hundreds of miles to see our greenhouse display. The plants’ luminous colors, exquisite shapes, and long season of bloom put lesser strains to shame.
The plants are housed in a hoop-style greenhouse that is open to the public during our store hours. Peak bloom runs from July to September. We hope you’ll come by for a visit. Bring your camera!
