75th Anniversary Photo Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SPONSOR

The "75th Anniversary Photo Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by White Flower Farm, located at 30 Irene St. Torrington, CT 06790 ("Sponsor"). This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of White Flower Farm, Inc. and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Photos must be original, taken by the entrant, and must not have been previously published or entered in other contests.

3. ENTRY PERIOD

The Contest begins on July 15, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. EST and ends on July 22, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. EST (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.

4. HOW TO ENTER

  1. To enter, upload your photo using the submission form at whiteflowerfarm.com/75th-anniversary-photo-contest. Each entry must include a title or caption, your name, and email address. Photos must be submitted in .jpg, .png, or .heic format and must not exceed 10MB in size.
  2. Submit the form before the end of the Entry Period.

5. LIMITATIONS

  • Limit ten (10) photo entries per person, per email address, and per household for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void.
  • Images must feature or include plants you purchased from White Flower Farm or be scenes you photographed in our display gardens in Morris, CT.

6. PRIZE

  • A total of five (5) winners will be selected. All winners will be emailed a $75 White Flower Farm Gift Certificate..
  • The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or alternative prize substitutions will be offered except at Sponsor’s discretion.
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.

7. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

  • The winners will be selected by White Flower Farm staff from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Popular vote counts will be considered. All judging decisions are final.
  • The selection will take place on or around July 23, 2025.
  • The winners will be notified via the email address provided during entry within 48 hours of selection.
  • The winners must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. If the winner fails to respond within this timeframe, an alternate winner may be selected.
  • Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect email addresses, spam filtering, or any other issues preventing the winner from receiving their notification.

8. PUBLICITY RELEASE

By entering the Contest, participants grant White Flower Farm a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute your photo in any media for promotional and marketing purposes, with or without attribution (although Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to credit the photographer when feasible), without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. You retain ownership of your photo.

Winning entries may be featured on White Flower Farm’s website, catalog, social media, or email campaigns.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Sponsor is not responsible for technical errors that result in lost or delayed entries.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair its integrity.
  • Entries must not contain obscene, sexually explicit, defamatory, or copyrighted material not owned by the entrant. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or not in keeping with the Sponsor’s brand.
  • By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.
  • Void where prohibited.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Sponsor, Instagram, Facebook, and their respective affiliates are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
  • By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless White Flower Farm, Instagram, Facebook, and their respective affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance of the prize.

11. PRIVACY POLICY

Participant information collected in this Contest will be used in accordance with White Flower Farm’s Privacy Policy. By entering, you acknowledge that White Flower Farm may send you emails related to this contest, including winner notification. You may also choose to receive promotional emails by opting in during entry. You can unsubscribe at any time.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
