Blazing Star

A North American genus native to the central and northeastern regions of the continent, Liatris (commonly known as Blazing Star) is excellent for cutting and beautiful in the border, where it looks best planted in groups. It’s also a strong favorite with butterflies. Liatris plants thrive in full sun and well-drained, even dry, soil.
