Daylily

Daylilies (properly, Hemerocallis) are the plants every gardener dreams of. Beautiful and rugged, they provide glorious blossoms in a wide range of colors, and a long season of bloom (though individual flowers last but a day). They can be used as a carefree ground cover, and they're ideal for lining pathways and borders. Some newer varieties produce many flower buds and stay in bloom for a longer period. Many Daylilies shown here have more than one bloom cycle, and benefit from deadheading and additional fertilizer in midsummer. We ship bareroot plants that usually flower in the first year.
