Beginning in May, we will ship a “farmer’s choice” bouquet of fresh flowers, with a new floral design available each week. The bouquet will follow the bounty of the season. In May, enjoy spring favorites such as Tulips, Crabapple Blossoms, heirloom Narcissus and Ranunculus, followed by June’s Peonies, Alliums, and Snapdragons. Midsummer brings Sunflowers, Rudbeckia, Zinnias, and Delphiniums, followed by autumn’s Dahlias, Ornamental Grasses, heirloom Chrysanthemums, and Tuberose, to name a few. Vases are not included.

You, or your recipient, will receive:

  • 1 “farmer’s choice” bouquet of fresh seasonal flowers
  • Care instructions

Muddy Feet Flower Farm is led by Kristin Burrello, who is not only a seasoned grower but a gifted floral designer. Her arrangements are simultaneously wild and delicate, and bear no resemblance to the bland, aging specimens you’ll find in the cooler at your local supermarket or at other online floral services. A Muddy Feet bouquet looks like it was cut that morning from the cutting garden of your dreams—in fact, it was!

The bouquets pictured here are representative of Kristin’s style, but not necessarily indicative of any week’s given bouquet. To learn about Kristin and her flower farm, please visit

All bouquets are shipped the next business day (weather permitting) from the grower, but customers pay only standard shipping rates.

Orders placed Monday-Tuesday will arrive Thursday. Orders placed Wednesday-Sunday will arrive the following week on Tuesday.

This item ships from Connecticut.

Every state has agricultural regulations that restrict the shipment of certain plants. We're sorry, but we cannot ship this item to the following states: California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington.

Sorry, Express delivery is not available for this item.

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

The highest compliment

My mother just received her bouquet from Muddy Feet and gave it her highest compliment, " It looks like it should be in the lobby of the Met."
Thank-you for sending her a very fresh, beautifully collated and grown, blooming bouquet. Highly recommended.

Another Magnificient Bouquet

Another year, another Mother's Day bouquet for my remarkable Mother, another phone call raving about the beautiful bouquet she received. The superlatives were plentiful....and this is from a woman who is very particular about flowers. She named all of the flowers and finished with "the greenery balanced out the arrangement perfectly". Muddy Feet bouquets are the ONLY bouquets I will order for this beautiful woman who has the highest standards. Thank you for bringing such happiness to my amazing Mother.

Not Such a Good Purchase

This was not a good purchase. Flowers were not attractive or even unusual. Many were dead or nearly dead on arrival. The entire bouquet was kaput within 2 days.

Amazing Bouquets

I sent a Muddy Feet bouquet to my Mother for Mother's Day. She is an avid gardener and is extremely picky/vocal about flower arrangements. This was the only arrangement I have ever sent that prompted a phone call, an email and numerous text messages about how gorgeous the arrangement was....and how long it lasted. I am definitely using Muddy Feet for all future arrangements.

To maximize your bouquet’s vase life and keep your flowers looking their best, follow these simple instructions:

  • Give your vase a good scrub with diluted bleach (ratio of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water) to make sure no bacteria is lingering.
  • Dissolve contents of the enclosed flower food packet in your vase following the directions on the packet. Flower food is not included if your bouquet does not require it.
  • Recut the bottom of each stem at an angle, removing at least 2” to your desired height.
  • The blossoms will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days. Check the water level daily and add water as needed. Replace water every 2–3 days.
  • To lengthen the life of your bouquet, recut the stems in 3–4 days.
  • Remove older flowers as they fade.
  • Keep your bouquet away from direct sun, drafts, and sources of heat.

For Rose bouquets:
Gently remove the outer guard petals, which may be bruised or damaged.

For larger Gerbera Daisies:
Gently remove the protective netting around each flower head and adjust the plastic tube on each stem so that the top of the tube rests against the base of the flower head.
