Midsummer brings Sunflowers, Rudbeckia, Zinnias, and Delphiniums, followed by autumn’s Dahlias, Ornamental Grasses, heirloom Chrysanthemums, and Tuberose, to name a few. Vases are not included.

You, or your recipient, will receive:

  • 1 “farmer’s choice” bouquet of fresh seasonal flowers
  • Care instructions

Muddy Feet Flower Farm is led by Kristin Burrello, who is not only a seasoned grower but a gifted floral designer. Her arrangements are simultaneously wild and delicate, and bear no resemblance to the bland, aging specimens you’ll find in the cooler at your local supermarket or at other online floral services. A Muddy Feet bouquet looks like it was cut that morning from the cutting garden of your dreams—in fact, it was!

The bouquets pictured here are representative of Kristin’s style, but not necessarily indicative of any week’s given bouquet. To learn about Kristin and her flower farm, please visit

All bouquets are shipped overnight from the grower, but customers pay only standard shipping rates.

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the Shipping Details box for each item. Please refer to the Shipping Details box to determine the earliest shipping time. Unless you specify otherwise, fertilizers, tools, and other non-plant items are shipped with your plants or bulbs. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Flower Design Hallelujah!

Claudia Hahn from Weston, CT and Forestburgh, NY

Muddy Feet Flower Farm has the most scrumptious flowers, grown onsite. Their arrangements are always wonderfully fresh, with an unusual twist. Never boring,
cookie-cutter designs.

Amazing Bouquets

A viewer from Michigan

I sent a Muddy Feet bouquet to my Mother for Mother's Day. She is an avid gardener and is extremely picky/vocal about flower arrangements. This was the only arrangement I have ever sent that prompted a phone call, an email and numerous text messages about how gorgeous the arrangement was....and how long it lasted. I am definitely using Muddy Feet for all future arrangements.

Not Such a Good Purchase

A viewer from Massachusetts

This was not a good purchase. Flowers were not attractive or even unusual. Many were dead or nearly dead on arrival. The entire bouquet was kaput within 2 days.

LOVE Muddy Feet!

A viewer from Connecticut

I haven't ordered one of these bouquets yet, but Muddy Feet Flower Farm did the flowers for my wedding last fall, and they were absolutely STUNNING! Loosely but artfully arranged, it looked like we'd gone out in a field and gathered bunches of the most beautiful flowers you can imagine. It was natural, colorful, and fun, and I loved the fact that all of the flowers were grown right there on the owner's farm (which I got to tour during my initial appointment). I had more compliments on my flowers at both the wedding and from people seeing my photos than any other element of the wedding. These are not going to look like your standard mail-order bouquets. If they're anything like my experience with Muddy Feet, they will be nothing short of spectacular!

Muddy Feet Bouquet for Mother's Day

A viewer from Palm City, Florida

The flowers are gorgeous and aromatic ! They arrived safely packed in their box. The assortment is beautiful, and it was so nice to see tulips and daffodils included. Living in FL means no Spring bulbs. Thank you Muddy Feet ! A wonderful treat for Mother's Day from our son, daughter in law and their two boys.

Growing guide

Growing guide

To maximize your bouquet’s vase life and keep your flowers looking their best, follow these simple instructions:

  • Give your vase a good scrub with diluted bleach (ratio of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water) to make sure no bacteria is lingering.
  • Dissolve contents of the enclosed flower food packet in your vase following the directions on the packet. Flower food is not included if your bouquet does not require it.
  • Recut the bottom of each stem at an angle, removing at least 2” to your desired height.
  • The blossoms will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days. Check the water level daily and add water as needed. Replace water every 2–3 days.
  • To lengthen the life of your bouquet, recut the stems in 3–4 days.
  • Remove older flowers as they fade.
  • Keep your bouquet away from direct sun, drafts, and sources of heat.

For Rose bouquets:
Gently remove the outer guard petals, which may be bruised or damaged.

For larger Gerbera Daisies:
Gently remove the protective netting around each flower head and adjust the plastic tube on each stem so that the top of the tube rests against the base of the flower head.
