HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Beautiful & Sturdy! Took me 30 minutes to assemble by myself with the help of painters tape. The 2nd flush of my clematis is trying to climb the new trellis.?

Purchased x- large. Well-packaged. Instructions clear. Assembled by myself with a stool as a prop. Placed in garden and now ready for climbing rose to be planted inside of it.

Beware! This doesn't come packed with assembly instructions

A viewer from MA

Plus, wrapped in tons of plastic and bubble wrap. You'll take as long to unwrap it all as it took to assemble it.

Beautiful sturdy piece!

Bethie from Northern Virginia (zone 6b)

This is a beautiful trellis. Very sturdy. Will look lovely with clematis, roses, or annual vines.

It was challenging to put together. A few tips: The bottom four bars need the four bare “prongs” down to secure the piece in the ground. Note that the two rings in the middle “split” the tuteur in half. This enables one to get all four of the spirals in place with some force.

Really nice

A viewer from NY

I was very excited when I saw this very large tuteur available to order, just couldn't resist.

It is substantial and well designed. I wanted it for a very mature rose Florentina. Now that it is in place, I am extremely happy with the overall effect.

The only downside is that assembly was quite challenging. It took me half of yesterday to put this thing together. Instructions are sketchy and poorly printed. In addition, the parts are not fitted with precision, so you need to apply some pressure, especially when installing final "spiral" parts. Better to have two people to do it.

But am still very happy with the purchase, cannot wait to see this rose in bloom.
