Growing Lobularia (Sweet Alyssum)

Latin Name Pronunciation: lob-you-lair'-ee-uh

Lobularia is a genus of 5 species of mounding, low-growing perennials and annuals. Plants are covered with clouds of flowers, often scented, from early summer to frost. Lobularia are suited for use along the front of a border, and their spreading habit makes them invaluable in containers and hanging baskets.

Sweet Alyssum thrives in full sun or partial shade and prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly, especially if grown in hanging baskets or containers.
